  1. Audio Express says:

I’ve had this for about a month and have been running 4.0ghz since day 1. It’s very fast, very cool running, and low power. It handles everything I toss at it and keeps asking for more.

4.0ghz @ 200×20 @ 1.3 vcore with vdroop enabled so the chips runs at 1.25-1.27.

I set vtt also to 1.3 because I just want the chip to run fast and do what it’s supposed to do as I don’t have time to fine tune the voltages at the exact moment.

Memory set at 800 for an even keel.

All power saving features turned off, although I was very much able to get in windows with them on, but again don’t have the time to fine tune so I turned them off.

Everything else is on auto. The chip runs low power and cool and very fast. Prime stable rock solid.

Multi goes up to 22x so there is room for more, I had problems getting it to post past 4.0ghz (yes I have a dedicated gpu) without increasing the voltage a lot more which for me isn’t needed as I am extremely satisfied with this chip at 4.0ghz it is very fast and handles things astronomically better than LGA775. The inter-core bandwidth & latency on these new core series 32nm chips is top notch.

    Windows 7 rating at 4.0Ghz is 7.2

Thank you very much Intel you guys are on an awesome track, keep doing exactly what you are doing making these awesome processors and best yet giving us the ability to tweak these babies you are getting a very large fan base and many customers for life and we thank you.
