Junk Junk Junk! I removed from my phone after 30 minutes. Impossible to get all the bubbles out and also looks wavy and distorts the screen. Complete junk!

Reading the nightmare stories here of how difficult it is to install this, despite video instructions and fine motor skills, my wife and I had ours professionally installed by an Invisi-Shield employee at the mall (the full protection – front face and wrap-around back piece).

Excluding the fact the girl scratched the back of my perfect new pristine iPhone 3G S right in the center of the Apple Logo on back, and had a big white dust particle stuck on the inside of the shield, and had multitudes of little bubbles under the shield around the back on both phones (which she said would go away and did reduce and are nearly gone now), the shield is NOT scratch proof.

Zagg CLEARLY CLAIMS the Invisi-Shield is Scratch PROOF. Well lo and behold, we get home, my wife uses her phone for a while and then says there’s this scratch on the front face. I say it’s impossible, it’s scratch proof. She shows me and whoa, there is a scratch. It was NOT there before the install nor right after so this happened at home. I asked how did that happen? She said she simply reached for it and accidentally ran her finger nail across the front of the screen. I said no way, it’s scratch proof. I run my nail across it and look to prove the point and WHOA. I just made a scratch with my nail. SCRATCH PROOF? LIES!

We’re going back to demand an immediate FREE replacement (life time scratch proof guarantee they claim). Apparently it’s scratch proof if you don’t try scratching it. But we watched the video where the guy ran his keys across the phone and no scratches so what’s going on? Key proof but not fingernail proof? Of course it has to be scratcheable, how else could they cut it out into the pre-formed pieces – think about it. So a sharp enough edge will 100% not just scratch it, but cut it. And it doesn’t have to be a knife – beware of doing something insane such as using your HAND to pick up your device, after all, you have fingernails. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the false advertising misleading lies and fraud going on here with this product.

Try it yourself: run the edge of your fingernail across the invisi-shield (be sure you know you have your receipt first as you’ll be going to have it replaced right after).

I’ve previously purchased the cheap screen protectors from the AT&T store. They saved my first iPhone’s touch screen from a few disasters. So I passed my first iPhone on to my wife. I wanted to buy a screen protector of a “higher caliber” for my new 3G.

Zagg Invisible Shield is not what it’s cracked up to be. As another reviewer said, if you don’t get the screen on prefect the first time then Zagg Invisible Shield suddenly becomes a distorted piece of junk. Funny, I was able to install the cheaper shields no problem.

Not only was the thing impossible to install in one take, it was priced significantly higher. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I threw my money away on an overpriced, worthless gimmick.

Save you money and don’t buy these.

BTW, one of the other reviewers is actually reviewing the cheaper screens like you buy at the AT&T store (comes in a three pack), so you can throw his semi-positive review out.

I bought 3 shields for ipod touch 1st and 2nd generation and a laptop direct from Zagg. Not only did they arrive late and have problems with my order due to new changes they had made at there company in shipping but when I got them they were in poor condition boxes looked like hell. I applied them and they failed they look bad when applied I followed every step and tips they looked like orange peel texture and made the screens blur. I would suggest not spending any money on Zagg buy another case or protection for your gadgets I emailed them back and forth many times new person each time all who gave me empty promises from free replacements to refunds and yes I tested the hell out of this also only positive thing about it is comes off easy after applied and cleans with no sticky mess. SAVE YOUR MONEY buy another item I could not suggest what might be right for you but I spent over 200 dollars alone on cases I am now very happy with what I got and it works perfect zagg is a hype never again will I buy from them all of what they sent me went to the trash the same week.
